Kursbeschreibung
Experience the vibrant flavors of Filipino cuisine in this hands-on evening of cooking, culture and community. With a rich history shaped by Spanish, Chinese and Native influences, Filipino food offers a unique fusion of savory, sweet and tangy dishes that come together on one delicious plate. In this class, we will prepare a traditional three-course Filipino menu. You will learn practical techniques such as making empanada dough, braising meat Filipino-style and rolling and frying turon. Participants will work together to create each dish and learn about the stories, traditions and secret techniques behind them. We will finish the class by sharing our meal together in a warm, friendly atmosphere. This course is suitable for all experience levels. Please bring apron, tea towels and a small food container if you wish to take leftovers home. The ingredients cost of EUR 25,00 are included in the fee.
